Kwai Chung Marine Traffic Control Station
Hong Kong

Completion: 1999
The Local Marine Traffic Control Station sits on bore pile foundation at the foot of Kwai Chung Basin and rises approximately 60 metres in height. The Marine Department will monitor and regulate vessel traffic on a 24 hour basis which makes visibility a major design criteria. The lightness of the Control Station is further enhanced by the cantilevered stainless steel gantries providing maintenance access.
